戴维斯 named chair of SPU Board of Trustees
塞德里克·戴维斯, senior philanthropic advisor with the 西雅图 Foundation, is the new chair of the board of trustees at 西雅图 Pacific University.
戴维斯, who received his MBA from SPU in 2008, is an active community member currently serving on the boards of Mothers for Justice United, the CFOS Foundation, and Mentoring Urban Students & 青少年. Some of his personal philanthropic interests and passions include education, 指导, and youth development.
“As a proud Falcon, I am humbled to serve SPU in this capacity,” says 戴维斯. “SPU has become a nationally recognized premier Christian university under the leadership of President Martin and his leadership team. I am honored to succeed Doug Backous and, alongside my fellow Trustees, eager to advance the mission of this great place.”
SPU President Daniel Martin says he looks forward to serving alongside 戴维斯. “He brings a wealth of experience and skill, as well as a particular understanding and appreciation for 西雅图 Pacific’s mission, while leading with grace and wisdom.”
